Global Health Office of Anesthesia
The Department of Anesthesia established the Global Health Office of Anesthesia (GHOA) in 2009 to help improve peri-operative anesthesia care globally. The office aims to build shared knowledge, provide education and training, build capacity for service delivery and engage in research and evaluation.
The GHOA assists in coordinating the global health activities of Department of Anesthesia faculty members, identifies opportunities for faculty to promote their global health work and provides support and pre-departure assistance to faculty members and residents participating in education and training missions overseas.
